  • Gets a little off-track at times

Very informative show, but they get off the whiskey track quite a bit and make podcasts that are way too long ( please try to keep it under one hour for my work commute), and there are too many ads at the beginning and end of the shows.

  • SRP Stop!!

Love all your episodes… BUT you have to STOP talking in terms of SRP. No one makes a decision to buy bourbon these days based on SRP- especially LTOs. SECONDARY is all that matters (especially in OH where you can’t buy HH22 at SRP). Please add ‘would you pay $$$ secondary for this bottle..’. Thx!

  • Love the Guys

Love the content. The guys really do mix up the bourbons and keep the banter fun and informative. Please bring back the old intro song the new one is horrible.

Tara Lindley from High West and the 2026 Prisoner's Share
Q: How long is the wine finishing process, and how does it affect flavor?
Finishing typically starts around six months, with variations that bring fresh fruit notes upfront and more extractives with longer times, impacting toast, lactones, and spice.
BH429 - Mouth Experience Monday - Quad Blind from Todd Ritter!
Q: How do you feel about the finish across the samples?
The second sample has a more pronounced, longer finish with richer oak and caramel, while the third is a bit more muted but still balanced; overall, the final sample stands out for its finish and viscosity.
BH429 - Mouth Experience Monday - Quad Blind from Todd Ritter!
Q: What do you get on the nose for the first sample?
A good amount of vanilla with a touch of nail polish remover, suggesting oak aging and a possible brown formany style; the tasters note a creamy, slightly viscous nose.
BH415 - Interview Series - Nashville Barrel Company and The Compromise
Q: What are you looking for in terms of taste profile for those barrels?
We're looking for sweet notes and balance, particularly more approachable flavors as we blend, while keeping a bold profile for single barrels.
BH415 - Interview Series - Nashville Barrel Company and The Compromise
