Over the years, have been listening to various movie reviews usually done by Americans, and more often than not, they’re boring and go off topic regularly and quite unentertaining. Came across Trevor & Steve and I’m totally sold. Absolutely brilliant! I find them a hilarious pair probably because I’m a ‘85 year ex Marist Bros version too! Sometimes I’m up ‘till 2am unable to stop listening!! So refreshing to listen to their regular movies synopses.
Keep them coming ..

Love the show would be great as with the other two blokes shows if Steven didn’t have to make the tacky sexual comments on every single subject. It gets a tad sad after a while other than that great shows
Love hearing Trev And Stephen discuss some of my favourite films. Rewatching movies frequently after their episode. The combination of Trev reacting to a film for the first time along with Stephen's encyclopaedic knowledge of every single film ever made that he's also seen at the cinema make this a must listen show.
5 stars every week from these legends.
Move over Richard Wilkins, there are two new sheriffs in town!!
By far the best movies reviewers, from Stephens knowledge on movies to the way Stephen and Trevor click together it’s not only informative but laughs from start to finish.
Congrats on getting to 100 shows next week aswell.
This about time guys… For years I have been listening to you to on two blokes with Stephen talking about movies to Trev and he not knowing these classics driving me nuts. Great show going over in detail these classic movies and how Trev has miss out on them. Fantastic stuff… keep it up!

Two longtime movie fans re-watch and dissect a rotating lineup of beloved and cult classic films, mixing deep-dive analysis with personal memories and candid reactions. A hallmark is the dynamic pair: one host brings encyclopedic knowledge, the other revisits films as a newer viewer, creating a blend of expert insight and fresh perspective. Episodes routinely weave in production trivia, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and cultural context, often pairing film talk with light sponsor reads that anchor tech or streaming promotions. The format tends to favor conversations about iconic scenes, soundtrack choices, casting, and the evolving reception of films over time, making it appealing to cinephiles and casual viewers alike who enjoy thoughtful a... more
