  • Suggest Camille went solo

Cohost is not good and not informed. If camille went solo I’d probably continue listening. It’s annoying they just keep disagreeing and it’s clear that Camille is more in the know.

  • Engaging if you can separate brands from human values

Really smart analysis of American brands with engaging insights. But the hosts are able to discuss brands without any consideration of their ethics or value system in a way I found empty.

Turned it off at ‘successful people would ask: what can I learn from Trump?’ We could make a list of all the populist dictators who successfully galvanised legions into horrific acts and ask - what can I learn? What can Pinochet or Mussolini teach us about messaging and marketing? The normalising of people an... more

  • Does the co-host know branding?

I was excited to start listening to this podcast because I’m trying to build a founder led brand. Unfortunately, the first episode I listened to was where the male co-host went on and on about how he didn’t understand why ASAP Rocky had been selected to be the face of a fashion brand. His co host explained why multiple times based on his history in the industry. Someone with true expertise would have some grasp of people involved with the industry. How can you teach if you are uninformed?
