Enough said
I wish it were possible to rate this 0 stars
This podcast feels like a brazen attempt to ride John Green’s coattails, while continually criticizing John and his (much more thoroughly-researched) podcast. Does the creator have some long-standing, personal grudge against John Green? That’s how it came across when I listened. They contribute very little insight or information to the topics. I could understand if they brought more humor to the whole affair, but as is it just feels mean-spirited.
I give this review series reviewing five star scale reviews five stars.
I guess if you don’t have any ideas of your own, you can piss all over someone else’s hard work. Well done.
Besides this podcast seeming like one’s personal diary entry rather than being meant for an audience, besides these “entries” being so mundane anyone sneaking a peak at this “diary” would quickly lose interest and put it back, and besides the irrelevance and pointlessness of effort put in making this podcast (nothing interesting added to the topics, and nothing at all shared to back up the rating for John himself — does the podcaster just have some high school grudge against him?) … besides all ... more
I thought the meta idea was funny and was expecting more from this podcast. I appreciate that this even exists, but can’t really recommend it or justify its existence. It doesn’t add anything new or even to the existing The Anthropocene Reviewed episodes. If you enjoy that, you might relish that shows review of this show, which should’ve been called “The Anthropocene Reviewed Reviewed Reviewed” in my opinion.
Did you notice how she never tells you WHY John Green 0/5 stars? (Other than the whole velociraptor fiasco)
I’m sorry that there are so many negative reviews on this podcast. It’s done in a tongue in cheek manner and I think it’s quite clever to see how she will turn the topic to her favorite creature. I can understand coming to the defense of your favorite author too but I think John’s gonna be just fine. This is in no way mean spirited. Just a little good natured ribbing.
what is the obsession with velociraptor? the only thing this “podcast” does is complain about someone’s personal rating of an extinct animal. what is the point?
I guess Anne Greene it’s just having it out for John Greene for some demented personal reasons. Pretty silly and immature
I guess I’m just confused by this.
A lot of folks have already defended John Green in their reviews so I won’t do it again, and honestly, his work can totally stand on its own, no defense needed.
I guess I’m just confused why this podcast exists? I thought it was a joke at first, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
The research done here is really minimal and doesn’t bring any new ideas to the table.
If you actually have criticism to give, give it, but don’t do whatever this is, it’s p... more
I like it!
(It's all a joke, right?? Who are you? Why did you make this? It's so bizarre! I love it!!)
First, you aren’t offering anything of your own into the podcast, all you do is cursory research on a topic already covered by Green, and then crap on him for one valid thing he said about velociraptors. If it’s a joke, it isn’t funny. And if it’s serious, it’s seriously petty. If you enjoy doing this I guess keep doing it, but don’t expect people to be entertained by two facts and a boring anecdote. And stop piggy backing on Greens fame and original idea. Also in your bio of the podcast you men... more
