I like the short format. It makes it easier to listen to at work in between tasks. I do feel like every episode was just a plug for PACE or APC with just a little bit of helpful information. I would like to see less info on PACE and APC and more info that is helpful for most admins without asking them to spend more. This could be a great resource for those who can’t get APC approved at their organization.

The Hidden Power of Workplace Recognition
Q: What advice do you have for Administrative Professionals who are great at celebrating others, but don't know how to advocate for their own appreciation at work?
Start small and build a trackable pattern of feedback with your business partner to show how recognition improves engagement and results, then gradually expand the practice with personal, tailored approaches.
Why EAs Should Be Executives [Rebroadcast]
Q: What is the first mindset shift an EA should make to start positioning themselves as an executive?
Believe in themselves and commit to doing the work on themselves first, including personal development and therapy, to overcome self-doubt and to demonstrate readiness to take on executive-level responsibilities.
How to Elevate Your Skills [Rebroadcast]
Q: Can you recommend any specific training or professional development courses that have helped you or others in admin careers?
She divides training into formal and informal: join communities like ASAP for formal learning, and engage in experiential, cross-functional challenges for informal growth. She also highlights cross-domain education, such as conferences outside administration, and ongoing reading across business, philosophy, and history to foster creative problem solving.
How to Elevate Your Skills [Rebroadcast]
Q: What are some essential advanced skills you believe every administrative professional should learn to improve efficiency and effectiveness?
Lynn emphasizes three human-centric buckets—self-awareness, emotional regulation, and contextual communication—as foundational. She also notes the importance of mirroring executives' needs, and she cautions that while AI and tech are useful, the most critical growth areas remain in how admins connect, influence, and communicate with others.
How to Master Time Management [Rebroadcast]
Q: How can an Administrative Professional perform a time audit for their executive to balance executive development with the executive's own time management?
Look for recurring meetings with low value, propose alternatives, and coordinate development days with the executive's schedule to create white space for strategic work while maintaining coverage of essential duties.
