  • Descriptive titles please!

I only want to listen to some content, based on the content not the speaker. Please make the titles information about the content so it's easier to determine what interest me. Unfortunately I do not recognize the names of any of your speakers so that does not help me understand whether or not it's an episode I'd like to download.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hunter Adams, Cornell University - Can We Save The Planet By Turning It Into a Computer?
Q: What does it mean to say nature does math, not just models it?
Nature doing math means using natural processes to process and store data directly, suggesting future computing could be embedded in ecological systems rather than built separately, which could reduce environmental costs and preserve ecosystems.
Hunter Adams, Cornell University - Can We Save The Planet By Turning It Into a Computer?
Q: What is a computer, and do natural systems qualify as computers?
A computer is anything which usefully transforms one quantity into another, and by that broad definition many natural systems—like animal behavior and forest dynamics—can perform computational transformations just as man-made devices do.
