I have listened to the show since inception but I shall not be listening anymore due to the choice of new advertiser. The ad peddling oil and gas as part of a sustainable future is in direct contradiction to the science that has been proven again and again, this undermines listener trust. How can we be comfortable the rest of the reporting is as impartial to political influence or other lobbying from groups??? Badly done
WP The 7 is my first go in the morning. Hannah Jewell is a clear and objective voice.
I’m a huge fan of this show and have been listening daily for a couple of years now. I am incredibly disappointed that they recently began featuring ads from the American Petroleum Institute that are peddling oil and natural gas as “cleaner” energy. This is dangerous misinformation and an irresponsible association. I expect better from the Washington Post. I will be reconsidering my support of this show as a result.
I miss Jeff! I give the podcast a 5 star with Jeff back in.
She speaks in a strange cadence. Very clipped. It doesn’t sound normal, Almost mechanical or AI. Also, I find that she mispronounces a lot of names and places. I would think that a broadcaster with double check pronunciations before going on air. I am disappointed in the Washington Post.
