My love of fan fiction and television production come together in this absolutely amazing podcast. I recommend this to EVERYONE even if they don’t listen to fiction podcasts. It has the humor of Stranger Than Fiction if the writer was a TV showrunner working on a show that was a healthy bit of both Buffy and Supernatural.
i have a lot of thoughts about this show, and i wish i was eloquent enough to word them all properly, but what i can say is that this show genuinely means a lot to me.

The first season is in progress as I write this. It is a story about fandom/media criticism following a high school senior and fanfiction writer who is trying to figure out her future, as well as a creator of a TV show (a bit of a Buffy/Supernatural mix), as creator intent vs audience interpretation of the show clash, specifically on the redeemability of the show's popular villain/antagonist and the direction the creator decides to take the show in after he learns people sympathize with this ant... more
As a lover of the vampire genre, and as a writer myself (although not in fan fiction) I love how this show (so far) encompasses two of my greatest loves- vampires, and writing. It's always amazing to hear a story about writers, but this is even greater, since there are stories within stories. I jumped upon listening to the podcast as soon as I saw the trailer in another of my subscriptions. <3
