listened to duel and friends of eddie coyle shows which were good then they did chinatown and TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP. just why? ruined it for me.
This podcast is consistently excellent. Jonathan and Michael are extremely knowledgeable, don't take themselves too seriously, and have great chemistry. An easy and entertaining listen in the car, or or anywhere else, and I look forward to each episode, much as I would a prestige TV show.
Really insightful stuff from two really smart guys whose knowledge is impressive and enthusiasm is infectious.
I would give the show 5 stars, but for your refusal to do a Marathon Man review!! I do think prime Burt Reynolds movie should be examined, deliverance, Smokey and the bandit, White lightning and gator(which he directed)
Enjoyed the One Battle discussion. Loved the mention of Jack D. Ripper especially because halfway through the film I was thinking Sean Penn was channeling Sterling Hayden’s character & was acting in a different movie, namely Dr. Strangelove.
