Was really looking forward to this as I love The Golden Girls. But this was so painful to listen too. The lack of knowledge was surprising. Not knowing where Blanche was from etc. don’t waste your time. Would be better with someone who was actually around when it was on. And all the laughing and giggling got old quick.

I like the hosts, and they are very thorough going through all the episodes. But their lack of basic GG knowledge is a little rough for me. Ex: “Where is Rose from?” Not knowing if Dorothy is from NJ or N.Y. Is this amateur hour?

I appreciate that you mostly stick to what’s happening in the episode and don’t go off too far into random tangents that aren’t really related to the show (like some of your competitors).
The comment on the pilot episode about Blanche’s face being too small for her head...you’re not imagining things! I’ve had the same thought many times.

I will say I initially didn’t care for this podcast because of all the nonstop laughing. But I gotta say the more I listened the more I have grown to love Genevieve and Anthony. I love their chemistry and the dry humor. And of course their knowledge of the GG. I’m going to be sad when it’s over.

I absolutely love The Golden Girls. I listen to to podcasts about it, and I have to say that this one is the inferior podcast due to the inane, wandering chitchat between the two hosts. It almost amounts to verbal grab-assing.
It is also my pet peeve when people inappropriately and unnecessarily use the word "like" throughout their sentences. Both hosts, especially Genevieve, litter every sentence with this word to no effect.
