Tragically unfunny, unfocused, awful format, terrible guests. Yet another podcast that never figured out the ‘why’ or the ‘how’ before hitting record. If you insist on checking this out, skip the first 15 minutes of mind numbingly dull banter.
Great for FNL fans! Meryl and Liz are terrific hosts.
Love this show! Watching FNL for the first time And this has been a tremendous accompaniment. Just like chatting TV with old friends.
The show is pleasant and likeable. A little less reflex laughter would be nice.
2 funny ladies that are great at recognizing the show’s weak points while still celebrating how great it is and also how deep down, we all wanna marry Coach. 💯💯💯
Really enjoying this podcast and so happy there are people that are still obsessed with FNL and take the time to do a podcast about it.
I found out about this podcast while I was binge watching for my first time Friday Night Lights and I was so happy, I thought “finally someone who loves the show (and Tami Taylor) as much as I do!”. These girls are hilarious, I find myself laughing out loud many times and I agree with the other two reviewers, listening to this makes you wish to be friends with Meryl and Liz, but you can’t, so you just listen to their podcast, stalk them on Twitter and impatiently wait every week for the new epis... more
I’m pretty late getting into the Friday Night Lights fandom, so I’m so glad that I found this podcast! It’s like talking to friends (I may or may not insert my own little “yes!” Comments or “no way, come on!” While listening...) which I wanted to do once I fell in love with the show. I would suggest this to anybody starting into the series or even to people who watched the series a long time ago. Heck, anyone who enjoys witty banter. I think this is the podcast for you. I love that the hosts als... more
Meryl and Liz are the greatest indie podcast. They make you want to watch an out dated show even with its flaws. They are an inspiring bunch with great Chemistry. The other reviewer is correct. Every time I listen I’m like “I wish I could be best friends with them” so it was ironic to see that review. Would like to see them dip into other shows, and possibly movies.
It's like you're eavesdropping on 2 BFFs hanging out and you want to be friends with them too, but you can't, so you just listen to them instead and podcast stalk them.
