  • Not great

Host needs to stop referring to actors’ characters as “you”. Like when talking about what Lucy did, she can’t talk to Grace saying you did this or that. The actors never refer to their characters as “me”.

  • Could be better

I can appreciate that this podcast is trying to spotlight the actors and some behind the scenes moments but I wish the actual story was discussed more. There is so much happening on the show and the most we get about the plot is a 30 second recap. We want more about the story, the little things on screen, the theories, where is it all going, how does this season’s story tie to season 1 and 2, etc.

  • Terrible

I love Tell Me Lies and was so excited to see an official podcast however this host is absolutely terrible. This may come as a surprise but not everyone watches Bravo TV programming and I don’t know anything about her yet she talks about herself 90% of the time as though she’s a huge celebrity. I wish the episodes actually talked about the plot of the show instead it’s this girl and whatever friend she has on talking about themselves. Talk about self-absorption.

  • Great TV Show

This is a phenomenal TV show! These actors are top notch. The host, however, was not a fit. I loved the companion podcast of Murdaugh: Death in the Family. This one had so much potential, but the host could not take it seriously.

  • Really want to love

I really want to love this podcast, but they don’t hit all the major the major themes in the show. For example they didn’t mention AT all about Lucy getting off to Steven’s voicemail. Like what?!?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Of Course That Was Gonna Happen
Q: If you had to pick one character that was the villain of season three, would it be Stephen?
Technically, yes. But I would say that you expect it from him because he doesn't know any better. I think that Evan was more disappointing because Evan knows better.
Of Course That Was Gonna Happen
Q: What drew you most to this story?
I was really taken by how humiliating the character of Lucy is, and I thought the author was incredibly brave letting her just be this humiliating character who humiliates herself for this relationship.
The Worst Game Ever
Q: What is it like having a new person come in? Did you haze him? Were you scared?
I love a newcomer, Fresh Blood. No, it's always exciting, and I thought the role of Alex was such a good part.
The Worst Game Ever
Q: Did anyone else feel like a newcomer was welcome?
Yeah, of course. I was obviously nervous coming in. It was, you know, this is my first kind of moment on a big stage over Tell Me Lies. But everyone was so welcoming.
The Worst Game Ever
Q: What advice would you give Lucy at this moment in time?
You're going to have to make all these mistakes and hopefully, at some point, you will have reached your rock bottom and say enough is enough.
