I was really hoping to like this, but it’s so unbelievably vapid. If you enjoy being trauma-dumped on, this pod is for you. This sadly appears to be nothing more than a shallow vanity exercise.
None of this is new or interesting. It’s the same nonsense that has been recycled on her blog and Substack for years. I didn’t think it could get any worse, but listening to her voice along with the complaining is SO much worse.
Ew. Don’t waste your time.
And just asked all her 5000 Substack readers to give her 5 stars….. is that fair???? How lazy
Danielle does this everywhere. Thinks she’s relatable but cannot move past any criticism, learn to move forward from her traumas or take any responsibility for her actions. This podcast is all about what’s wrong in her life. I’m disappointed bc i had high hopes for it. She’ll prob quit it like she did TEG and Anecdote.
Insufferable and completely unrelatable. Has a ton of help and still complains about her load.
I was so thrilled that Danielle started her podcast this year! She was the first person I paid to subscribe to on Substack. Reading her posts, and now listening to her episodes, makes me feel like I’m talking to a friend who gets it! We’re all imperfect, doing the best we can, and, most importantly, not alone in the imperfect mess and figuring it out.
As other reviewers have said, this is so yuck
Exactly what you would expect from someone like Danielle
Wow, this poor woman. Similar to her social and Substack, everything is so challenging and negative (despite having so many resources). I wanted to give it a shot and was hoping for some depth and positivity. Sadly, none.
Then this podcast is for you!
We need all the open ,honest and hard topics discussed and shared to give us a safe place to feel not alone and to help us work through them together.
I am so grateful for Danielle to bring this gift forward with grace.
If you’re looking for a reason to validate your unhappiness this is for you. Privileged white woman looking for reasons to be miserable and complain about her life which 99% of the population would feel fortunate to have. What a narcissist. Her poor husband.
Danielle is authentic and that comes through in everything she does, including and especially in her podcasts. I look forward to following along because she’s always interesting, and always finds topics that resonate with her listeners.
Danielle has a way of relating and drawing out beautiful stories! Love listening to her and her guests’ perspectives. Thank you for putting yourself out there - you’re an inspiration!
