  • TED offers an interesting range of subjects and the talks work when the speaker is passionate, but otherwise can come off as too pat, even supercilious. Overall the talks are too short and when taken together can leave one frustrated and hungry for more, reinforcing the impression of superficial made-for-TV content. But definitely a good tasting menu which introduces people and subjects worth deeper investigation
