Emily is great. She gives a perspective that us everyday people think of these movies. She doesn’t pander to the high grossing, Oscar winning, artsy films just because that is what she is suppose to do. I have been introduced to movies that I didn’t even know were out there and enjoyed them. Keep up the good work Emily.
I am a huge fan of Emily. She is both very intelligent and witty. I actually discovered her on a different podcast and to be honest if I hadn't, I don't know if I would have picked this one up. Emily is so funny and has a great opions of movies along with some obscure recommendations we’ve turned out to love. Emily does a wonderful job on this podcast giving notice of spoilers and is mindful that everyone had their own perspective on a movie. She does a tireless and thankless job of keeping up with this podcast and needs more appreciation!
A must listen if you want excellent movie analysis and a smart & fresh perspective. I discovered Emily because of her work with Iliza. Now I delight in listening to her excellent movie analyses. Keep up the work Emily… love it!!
I relish finding out which movie moments perplexed or delighted Emily Higgins. Her analysis and linkage of the movie pairings is unique and insightful. One classic excellent episode is ‘A Hero Lies in You: Star Wars vs Spy.’
