This is a little superficial. This boy is exceptional and suffers from an incongruous maturation- highly intelligent kids often struggle with emotions- and regulation. I would caution these parents as this can go sideways into depression and a continual lack of coping. When life gets tough- and he doesn’t excel it becomes dangerous. Parents need help.
