  • Rude and unprofessional

The moral of the story/review— don’t meet your heroes. I’ve enjoyed this podcast for a long time. Usually, Chelsea and Catherine give thoughtful, useful advice. So much so that I decided to write in with a problem of my own. I know what to do about my problem (mostly!) but I thought it would be fun to get Chelsea’s take. Much to my surprise, Catherine responded to my email and we had a great conversation. But when it came time for me to talk to Chelsea and her guest, Chelsea was incredibl... more

  • TOO MANY ADS

Love Chelsea and the great guests she has, but this podcast seems to be a vehicle for ads, not really interested in being sold a bunch of stuff I don't need.

  • Loved the David Oyelowo episode!

  • Mary Ellis episode

I just wanted to respond to Chelsea’s question she had asked in this episode. She asked, or inquired, why women now are opening seats at the table. Well it’s because of her and women like her. Chelsea has always said what’s on her mind and never held back. I’ve been watching/ listening to you for over a decade and I appreciate all you do!

  • It’s so cool to deadname a trans woman

Not only did you release an episode deadnaming Caitlin Jenner over and over again, but you made it part of your advertising? Shame on you! I don’t care how nasty of a person she is, trans women deserve better. Especially in the current climate.

Can You Spell Shenis? with TS Madison
Q: Jessica asks about sterilization and finding a partner who genuinely shares a child-free life.
The hosts advise being explicit in dating profiles, testing early alignment on major life goals (like not wanting children), and using conversations to uncover true intentions before investing time.
Can You Spell Shenis? with TS Madison
Q: Ceila Bay asks how to date after a heartbreak and whether to pursue younger partners for chemistry or stick to pattern-based choices.
Chelsea and TS Madison encourage trying new patterns, dating for experiences rather than outcomes, and being direct about what you want, while also acknowledging financial boundaries and being selective about investments of time and money.
Bar-Hopping Church with Wanda Sykes
Q: Do you ever fear being political in your comedy, and how do you decide what to say?
Wanda explains that she views political content as essential for her voice and that she chooses material that reflects her experiences, aiming to speak truth to power while remaining authentic to her perspective.
Alien Encounters with Neil deGrasse Tyson
Q: So, when people talk about Area 51, this is the area historically used to research extraterrestrial life; what's your take on its role in public perception and secrecy?
Tyson suggests Area 51 is a secret-operations hub rather than a literal stockpile of aliens, discusses the difference between true cover-ups and top-secret programs, and emphasizes that credible evidence would require transparent documentation rather than rumors.
Finding the Plot with Cheri Oteri
Q: What was the audition process like for SNL and how did it shape your career?
Cheri explains the quick, multi-character audition format, the intense environment, and how the Groundlings training helped her write and perform, ultimately shaping a durable career path.
