  • Disappointed

I’ve been a huge fan of Iliza for YEARS. paid for meet and greets, signed books and posters, listened RELIGIOUSLY to every comedy special and podcast but I’ve hit my breaking point. She seems to be going down a right wing pipeline with her comments about Charlie Kirk and Israel. She’s entitled to her opinions but I would rather not be called an idiot or paid actor for being critical of Israel’s far right leadership. I hope the money from Israel is worth it and you’re not just doing this for love... more

  • Real Life Advice that Cracks You Up

I have been a longtime fan of Iliza as a comic since War Paint and had no idea until last year that she had a podcast. I have been binging it since. I absolutely love this format. Some questions are funny, some are serious, but Iliza knocks them all outta the park. I also love the dynamic btw Iliza and Emily! Hot Scotty crushes it with the comedic relief in audio editing too. I absolutely love driving to work and cracking up over AIA!!

  • Like the show but not the direction it’s going…

Have been enjoying the show for some years now because of the Iliza/Emily combo. (Yes I do enjoy hearing about the cats.)

Some current trends: I like podcasts because they DON’T contain visual content. Don’t care if my hosts have perfect hair—just want to hear them.

Iliza is moving this to a more video program—may work out well, but not my taste.

More importantly, very disturbed by Iliza confounding any criticism of the policies of the state of Israel ( and its authoritarian lea... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Kudos To Me For Always Being Fresh
Q: My wedding coordinator is incredibly busy and often slow to respond; how should I ask her to respond more promptly and ensure the wedding weekend runs smoothly?
Acknowledge her workload but set clear expectations: propose a dedicated planning meeting, request a defined response window, document decisions for accountability, and create a simple paper trail. Also consider building in contingency plans and communicating that you'll review details at a set cadence as the date approaches. If needed, discuss bringing in an assistant to help with communications and logistics, and use a single point of contact for streamlined coordination.
I'll Get Your Enemies
Q: Whose responsibility is it to maintain the relationship between the daughter and her grandmother?
The questioner should focus on supporting the mother and child while encouraging clear, direct communication with the grandmother and their partner; the onus is on the adults to establish boundaries and determine how much contact is appropriate, rather than forcing a romanticized family bond.
Ask Andy Gump
Q: Is it okay to pursue a dream business with limited funds, or should I wait until more stability is achieved?
Talk openly about the dream, gather feedback, and create a concrete plan; if you're truly committed and have a viable plan, pursuing it can be worth the risk.
Ask Andy Gump
Q: What should I do if I suspect a GoFundMe about a medical issue is not legitimate?
Open a direct, compassionate conversation with the sister-in-law, verify information calmly, and consider involving other family members if appropriate.
Ask Andy Gump
Q: How should I approach a mother-in-law who is overly excited about news too early in the pregnancy?
Be honest with her in a calm, collaborative way, involving your husband, and set boundaries about when and how updates will be shared.
