Finally I find someone who provides the nutrition dietary information. Why this nutrition information as part of standard cancer treatment protocol? We in BC Canada, the oncologists never mentioned anything with nutrition, I have been searching and trying to do plant-based diet for my husband who is battling with cancer. I still need some direction but can’t get professional help. How do I able to get in contact with you and these two fabulous nutrition professionals? I need help please

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

AI Is Changing Healthcare — But At What Cost?
Q: How should institutions approach liability when using AI for critical tasks like billing or treatment decisions?
Liability should be shared among clinicians, institutions, and vendors, with clear accountability, transparency about networks and data handling, and robust governance measures such as offline backups and auditable ledgers to prevent misuses and errors.
AI Is Changing Healthcare — But At What Cost?
Q: What are the most important regulatory shifts affecting AI in healthcare today?
Regulatory focus is on governance, liability, data ownership, interoperability, and the integration of AI tools with existing healthcare systems, with particular attention to reimbursement policies and the need for oversight on autonomous or agentic AI.
Why Most AI Startups Fail in Healthcare
Q: Do you think AI will replace physicians in the foreseeable future?
No, AI will not replace physicians; it will transform their work, handling routine tasks and data synthesis while humans continue to provide care and empathy.
Why Most AI Startups Fail in Healthcare
Q: What would you change about how clinical AI tools are evaluated today?
Ensure all stakeholders who are implementing or using the tool are involved and have skin in the game, not just a rubber stamp; evaluation should prioritize physician usability and workflow impact.
Why Most AI Startups Fail in Healthcare
Q: Why is reimbursement and CPT coding so central to the viability of new MedTech?
Because without a viable reimbursement pathway, a clinically valuable solution may generate costs that outstrip revenue, making it unsustainable even if it improves patient care.
