Tigers are my favourite animal
Jim & Stu, a great podcast! I had to pleasure to hear Jim speak at my old company in 2016. I say “old” because he got me thinking and I took the leap last year. I left a big blue chip in a technical role to join a small family business in sales (for ethical and sustainability services). I moved from US to Brazil with my family. My salary is half but my job satisfaction and sense of purpose is times a hundred. Keep on inspiring people to do more than they possibly imagined.
I'm really enjoying these and getting something out of each one. I've loved the book and read it more than once and am about to read it again so it's lovely to have up to date news etc and a really fattening out of the ideas and concepts. I really hope that you are going to have a discussion about the moment of commitment as it's something I come back to again and again thinking of Jim putting the spoon down on his trifle.
It’s Taming Tigers unstripped; in a way that it provokes more thoughts and leaves you waiting for the next episode. more
Genuinely interesting and inspiring, I surprised myself that I actually listened through until the end of the first episode! (I am busy running my own business and there are always 'other things to be done'). It was time well spent though, and a good medium to engage with. more
