  • This show has decreased in qualify

I’m a Democrat who listen to Hoppy Kerchibal regularly l. He always tried to be fair to all sides. The new hosts are so pro Trump, and don’t really present other sides of the argument.. I assume when your sponsor the Coal Association has ads bragging about how wonderful Justice and the governor are, you are not allowed to offer another point of view.

If this continues, I won’t be listening anymore

  • Great show, way too many commercials.

Great show, love Hoppy. I listen to the podcast over the live show because I can fast forward through the commercials (sorry Tony).

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Talkline | April 29, 2026
Q: Senator Capito, what is your strongest case that your record has delivered for the average West Virginian?
She highlights protecting miners' benefits, creating the New River Gorge National Park, broadband deployment, and bringing resources to West Virginia through her leadership positions, arguing these efforts have tangible benefits for everyday people.
Talkline | April 14, 2026
Q: What are the long-term risks of suspending the gas tax in West Virginia?
The guest argued that suspending the gas tax would be a short-term fix that drains the Road Fund, risking underfunded road maintenance and delaying critical infrastructure projects; the rainy-day fund backfill could be politically expedient but does not replace steady, revenue-backed road investment.
Talkline | April 16, 2026
Q: What signals does the investment in WVU Medicine send about West Virginia's healthcare trajectory?
It signals a long-term commitment to strengthen clinical access and modernize facilities across the state, expanding both physical capacity and service breadth.
Talkline | April 13, 2026
Q: Why should Democrats support you on May 12th?
Stephanie Spears Tomana argues that she brings on-the-ground experience from rural West Virginia, prioritizes accountability for federal dollars, targeted infrastructure, education improvements, and healthcare access, and positions herself as a no-nonsense, common-sense candidate focused on tangible results for rural communities.
Talkline | April 7, 2026
Q: Mike, what do you think about the timing of oil prices in relation to the midterms?
Mike explains that price dynamics are likely to play out over 30 days post-conflict, with elections shaping perceptions, and notes that futures curves suggest a return toward equilibrium even if immediate shocks persist.
