  • Great group of guys!

I only started listening to this show from ep #000 around a month and a half ago, and i'm almost up to date. This is a great podcast with interesting conversation and debate. I didn't know the first thing about drupal when I first found the show, but as all the host's tend to keep the new user in mind its really easy to follow. Now im current building a few small projects, also experimenting with D8. Using a lot of the resources recommended on the show. Thanks a lot guys... Keep up the great wor... more

  • Practical and useful information

This podcast is a lot like the original Lullabot podcast from way back when that gave really practical and useful information. Was a pleasure to meet all the TD folks at NEWDCamp, reconnect with Jason and meet his wife Ellen. I have been working with Drupal since 4.7 and NEWDCamp got me re-charged about it.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Talking Drupal #556 - A Chat with Moshe
Q: How does the six-month release cadence help or hinder maintainers and users?
It provides predictability and backward-compatibility focus, which the community values, but it also imposes a cost in terms of development velocity. The cadence is seen as a net positive for stability and long-term planning, with a need to balance feature delivery and maintainability.
Talking Drupal #556 - A Chat with Moshe
Q: What led to the decision to move Drush into Drupal Core CLI, and how did you approach the migration technically?
The decision grew from a long-standing desire for a unified CLI in Core and the reality that some commands needed to be restructured for performance and consistency. The approach involved aligning with Core's dependency and Symphony version constraints, breaking down commands into core services, and planning staged transitions where contrib commands could still supply functionality before full core adoption.
Talking Drupal #558 - Agent Management System
Q: What is the setup process like for someone wanting to try AMS on their own project?
You start with the agent.md file as the substrate, clone the AMS repository, and run the two main directories (handoffs and docs); it's designed to be easy to start and easily customizable by talking to the agent, with optional downstream integrations.
Talking Drupal #558 - Agent Management System
Q: How do you decide which models to use for different tasks within AMS?
The approach starts with a preference for the most capable model the budget allows, then breaks the task into pieces and assigns the least expensive model that still accomplishes the goal, iterating to optimize cost and effectiveness.
Talking Drupal #558 - Agent Management System
Q: Could you describe what the agent management system is and how it differs from typical agent implementations?
AMS is a library and framework designed to improve communication and context retention among multiple AI agents, using a markdown-based handoff protocol and a human-in-the-loop approach to maintain human readability and control over long-running projects.
