  • Great Host

I was a guest on the show and it was such a great experience! Adrian makes you feel very comfortable and makes it more of a conversation rather than a show. He’s a wealth of knowledge and brings up some great topics and questions. Being part of the design community I love hearing the guests he brings on. It’s fun to relate to Al the guests and hear their stories. Big fan of this podcast and Adrian.

The THREE THINGS Every Home Renovation Needs with Nick Horvath
Q: What is Build Ready and who is it for?
Build Ready is a five-week program aimed at helping homeowners, especially those planning planning permission or early construction steps, to define scope, align budgets, and prepare for a smoother build by front-loading decisions and reducing risk.
How One Man Turned Crisis Into Purpose - Andrew White
Q: What was the origin story that shaped your path into leadership and design?
The guest describes growing up in Manchester, moving to Australia, and navigating early career challenges including bullying and a toxic work environment, which ultimately fueled a commitment to lead with purpose and to foster supportive, resilient teams.
Kelly Grace - The Architect Who Designs for Your Health
Q: How did you come to specialize in non-toxic, health-focused architecture?
Kelly discusses growing up around construction, her early hands-on experience, and her shift toward prioritizing environmental health in living spaces, including mold awareness and air quality as core design imperatives.
Alexander Josephson: The 5-Year Test That Built a Masterpiece
Q: What have you learned about resilience and failure in competitions, and how does that shape your approach to new work?
Losses are common; we view the process as an ongoing education, learning from each outcome, and building a culture that can sustain ambition, push for meaningful outcomes, and persist through bureaucratic and financial challenges.
Alexander Josephson: The 5-Year Test That Built a Masterpiece
Q: Architecture is a political act—how does your firm translate that into everyday practice when pursuing projects or responding to client demands?
We bring a clear set of values about design freedom, public benefit, and honest dialogue, and we push for outcomes that improve the city and the client's objectives, even if it means navigating complex politics and budgets.
