  • Great Host

I was a guest on the show and it was such a great experience! Adrian makes you feel very comfortable and makes it more of a conversation rather than a show. He’s a wealth of knowledge and brings up some great topics and questions. Being part of the design community I love hearing the guests he brings on. It’s fun to relate to Al the guests and hear their stories. Big fan of this podcast and Adrian.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mick Hawes: Your Product Isn’t the House — It’s the Client Experience
Q: What role do mindset and personal development play in business coaching for builders?
Mindset is foundational; the ability to lead yourself, manage emotions, and communicate effectively drives profitability and leadership. Coaching helps builders navigate phase-based learning (information, experience, wisdom) and stay committed to long-term goals rather than chasing short-term, shiny solutions.
Mick Hawes: Your Product Isn’t the House — It’s the Client Experience
Q: What is your core philosophy about what the 'product' in a building project actually is?
The product is the quality of the client experience—the interactions, communication, and relationships with the client and project team. When you align everyone around delivering a superior client experience, the rest of the project and the business naturally improve.
Health From the Inside Out: Ending Yo-Yo Diets & Habit Stacking with Ash Meredith
Q: What kind of results do participants report from the program?
Participants report better habits, improved relationship with food, some regain of menstrual function for those who had issues, weight loss for those who fit the profile, and a stronger understanding of individualized nutrition; responses vary by body type and backgrounds.
Health From the Inside Out: Ending Yo-Yo Diets & Habit Stacking with Ash Meredith
Q: What motivated you to create the Lean Body Reset program and who does it help?
Ash explains she built Lean Body Reset for women who are tired of dieting and want a non-restrictive approach that nourishes the body, builds strength, and establishes lasting habits rather than a temporary fix.
The Inheritable House: Designing for Life, Love, and Legacy with Greg Tankersley
Q: How do you start a project with a new client to ensure the home reflects their identity?
Greg emphasizes meeting in person, learning the couple's stories, and observing interactions to understand what truly matters, then translating those insights into a design that feels like it was made for them rather than imposed.
