One last time, the full crew of Infiniteers ventures out into the far reaches of Nowhere to (hopefully) save the entire multiverse.

The fight for the entirety of the multiverse begins. Will the Janiteers fulfill their role as sacrificial lambs? Find out in this episode!

Finally, the Janiteers have arrived at the bottom of the Heart. Now they just have to survive long enough to save the multiverse. Easy, right?

The journey to the bottom of the Heart continues as the Janiteers face even greater foes and are forced to relive the past.

After escaping the Ever Cathedral and meeting up with an unexpected visitor, the Janiteers finally feel a spark of hope as they come up with...am I reading this right? A plan? Wow, I never thought that would actually happen.

We all remember where we were the first time we heard the tale of the Wiseman, don't we? The story stays with you, gives you hope, gives you strength. Yes, as you know, thanks to the Wiseman we one day will see the God Child to victory!

The return of a friendly face (and friendly place) has Janiteers and Infiniteers alike a little on edge, as they continue their journey deeper into the Heart of the Spark.

  • A good blend of humor and great storytelling

I really enjoy the table banter this group has as well, and they do a good job of showcasing the strengths and weaknesses of the different tabletop games they play. Definitely a podcast I recommend to others.

  • The perfect blend

This podcast is the perfect blend of playing and irrelevant banter. It’s a lot of comedy mixed with emotional highs and lows. The movement between different RPGs keeps the stories fresh and allow the characters to demonstrate new facets of themselves in each new place.

  • the BEST actual play podcast out there

TON grabs you right from the first episode and keeps up that high bar of quality throughout. If you enjoy ttrpg podcasts like The Adventure Zone, NADDPOD and Rusty Quill Gaming you'll love this. What makes Tales unique is that each arc the characters travel to a different universe and play using a different TTRPG system, so if you've been wanting to broaden your horizens and explore systems other than d&d TON showcases these systems in an entertaining and aproachable way.

  • Genius Storytelling - updated

A friend recommended this to me and from episode 1 I was absolutely hooked. The way they go between worlds keeps the story interesting and keeps the characters on their feet. I love it.

    (Updated)

I have now finished listening to the first season. Let me tell you little did I know 4 years ago how much these characters would end up meaning to me. This story has been a rollercoaster of laughter, tears, gasps, and cheers. The four players play off of each other so seemingly effortlessly and the DM... more

  • Do yourself a favor and listen

It’s nearly criminal that Tales of Nowhere doesn’t have much greater notoriety, because it is a high-quality, heartfelt production.

This show features stellar storytelling, charming characters, and just the right balance of humor and drama. Its unique format of moving through different tabletop RPG systems while following a single narrative thread serves both to keep the story fresh and to introduce listeners to systems with which they may not be familiar.

  • Second only to the adventure zone

I’ve tried a lot of actual play podcasts and this is one of my favorites. The cast is great at improv and the pacing, mixing, and music are good as well. In addition to caring for the characters, I also appreciate learning about ttrpg systems other than d&d 5e.

  • Fresh Storytelling Medium

Such a great podcast. It’s a unique format being a role playing series. It makes everything an adventure as the cast is free to make their own choices and send the story in a new direction. As someone with very little exposure to role playing games it’s cool to listen to them as they visit each “world” and experiences the different game mechanics and rules.
