  • Love the Show

Man, this show gives you everything you’re looking for in a podcast. Comedy, wisdom, guidance, reflection, and the almighty God. And the best part is all the stories come from real life events. My only critique is a lack of mentioning Baltimore. I think Black has a problem with the city and won’t fully address it. lol. Respect good brothers

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

THE EFFECTS OF PRISON ON PARENTS: TALES FROM THE JAILS LIVE!!!
Q: What would you say to young brothers who feel pressured to stay on the street?
Think before you act; crime can be life-changing and you may end up spending decades behind bars, so seek lawful paths and build a positive future with patience and support from trusted people.
RALO PART 4: RALO EXPLAINS HOW THE LOSS OF HIS STEP FATHER TO GUN VIOLENCE AFFECTED HIS LIFE
Q: Do you think by your stepfather being murdered when you was young then, right? Do you think something broke in you?
He explains that violence was a daily reality and not a single traumatic event that broke him, but rather a normalization of danger that influenced his path until he found a different route through real estate. He frames the shift as a realization that legitimate wealth is possible and desirable, even if the past made crime seem like the default.
RALO PART 8: LEARNING MORE ABOUT HIS FAITH BEHIND THE PRISON WALL HOW HIS LIFE CHANGED WHEN HE ACCEPTED ISLAM
Q: How did you maintain that focus and stick to the plan to build a masjid-like presence after release, despite the challenges?
He emphasizes the resilience built through daily practice, the support of fellow Muslims, and a commitment to serving others as the core sustaining forces that kept him aligned with his goal.
RALO PART 8: LEARNING MORE ABOUT HIS FAITH BEHIND THE PRISON WALL HOW HIS LIFE CHANGED WHEN HE ACCEPTED ISLAM
Q: I want to start by asking you this, so what made you come to the point where you were like, I want to build a mansion? Like, what was your thinking process?
The guest describes a dawning realization and motivation sparked by exposure to Islam in prison, where he saw a path to lasting change and community through faith, which led him to start teaching and inspiring others.
TRAP STREET INDICTMENT: TALES FROM THE JAILS LIVE!!!!
Q: What happens when a cellmate dies and how does the system respond?
Inmates describe a multi-stage process: alerting staff, locking down, an investigation, and isolation (SHU) while awaiting autopsy results and determining responsibility, often with a focus on protocol over immediate emotional support.
