Come Home to Your Body with Master Mingtong Gu
Q: What is the central practice you recommend for coming back to the body?
Begin by closing your eyes, feeling your body, letting go of judgment, and simply sensing the truth of what is happening inside—recognizing that the body contains your entire history and your present potential.
Life Question of The Week, 5.22.26
Q: Please help fortify my perspective as I parent my 16-year-old daughter. She does all the right things in quotes. She's an honor roll student, maintains a demanding national volleyball schedule, Doesn't smoke or drink. But I lose my composure when I have to step in as a parent and reinforce boundaries. How can I stay grounded and hold space while guiding her?
Hold space by seeing her as the beautiful, capable person she is, keeping a photo in your wallet to remind you of her higher potential, approaching with questions rather than threats, and gradually building confidence and responsibility while staying rooted in your spiritual practice.
Life Question of The Week, 5.22.26
Q: He says, on my journey, I understand when you say that the divine spark resides in our heart space, that the kingdom of God is within us, and that we are here to awaken to this and align with it. My question is, how do we actually awaken this divine spark within us? And what does it truly mean to align with it? And what does that look like in real practical terms?
The awakening is through a daily combination of intention and practice, including sacred silence, introspection, meditation, and life visioning, which erodes distractions and reveals our true essence within the quantum field, shifting priorities away from materialism toward inner alignment.
Life Question of the Week: 5.1.26
Q: When an accident happens and life throws you a curve ball, what is the best practice for not letting the incident replay in your mind and make you feel like a failure?
interrupt mentation by reframing the past as a lesson and blessing, asking what the gift or lesson is, and living in the feeling of the desired outcome in the present moment to release the sting of the past.
Life Question of the Week: 5.1.26
Q: Why do I have so much time to dedicate to my music and my spiritual practice and my household duties?
Ask why you have so much time so the universe can help you segment it, perhaps dedicating specific hours to music while still honoring family and practice, thereby creating a pathway for your gifts to emerge.
