Josh said to say something nice.

I’ve been listening to this show consistently since last year’s Oscar season and it has been a delight. While I’m still catching up the significant backlog of episodes, but the chemistry and commentary of everyone on this show is an absolute delight.

By far one of my favorite movie podcasts.

Thoughtful and funny podcast. I'd never watch a movie like The Piano Teacher, but I was happy to listen to the hosts of Swimfans talk about it for an hour.

For an especially thoughtful ep try out The World of Kanako, for an especially funny ep listen to Ghost Ship, or for a contiguous overview of the podcast's range you can go to their series on the 50 Shades trilogy (episodes 155, 163, and 191).

  • That’s how you do it

To see a group of young fresh minds talking in depth about movies is pure joy. In this chaos that everyone thinks sitting with friends and blabbering means movie analysis podcast this is not even a jewel comparing but a powerful one that stands on its own. Looking forward to more material. Keep it coming boys. ✌🏼💟☮️

Sincerely one of my favorite podcasts. The boys go in deep on these often dismissed genres and find gems to talk about whether it’s about performance, cinematography, or just a really good piece of writing. I appreciate the queer lens they bring to the discussion since many of these movies really benefit from discussion with a non-straight angle; however, they also aren’t afraid to call out the worst parts of these movies too. Very balanced and fun and funny, I love the passion and sincerity bro... more

very comfy podcast with a consistently interesting wheelhouse that has introduced me to so many weird movies and always done my favorites justice.

usually hilarious and insightful but even the sleepy hangout eoisodes are great bc the vibe of this show is so unique and versatile. perfect for windy nights, weird pnw coast roadtrips, motel rooms, mindlessly balancing on a yoga ball procrastinating on work at 9pm, etc.

the Demonlover and Perfect Blue eps are a couple of favs. the recent FLCL one ... more
