  • I learn something from every episode

You don't have to be an aspiring academic surgeon like myself to enjoy this podcast. There are many "life lessons" woven throughout. In addition, I learn something from every episode whether it is the dangers of using race a biological variable (episode 6), the importance of taking risks (episode 8), or why we need to improve informed consent (episode 11).

  • Interesting

Not a doctor myself, but it's fascinating listening to two doctors discussing interesting topics at a high level. Surprisingly engaging and accessible.

I’m an internal medicine Med Onc doc and I still find this really interesting and often useful to my practice.
