  • Consistently required listening

Sunday Supplement is one of the highlights of my listening week. The range of topics covered in the programme, even during the pandemic, is varied and always of interest. • If you want to know what is going on in Wales, this is the podcast to listen to!

I listen to this podcast every week to catch up on the truly important issues being discussed in Wales. I only wish that I understood enough Welsh to listen to it on Radio Cymru. Mr. Roderick is extremely knowledgeable and seems very fair to both sides of any issue. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who loves Wales.

Jenrick, Greenland, obesity, Scottish Labour, U-turns
Q: What do you think Robert Jenrick is hoping to achieve by this move?
I think he's hoping that his ambitions will be fulfilled and he can rise in the ranks of the Reform Party, seeing personal ambition over broader political strategy.
Jenrick, Greenland, obesity, Scottish Labour, U-turns
Q: How damaging do you think a series of U-turns, as we've seen here in the last 18 months, be for the image of any government?
It's terribly damaging. People will start to think understandably that you don't stand for anything, that you're fickle, that you've got no backbone and you've got no vision.
Greenland, the world order, rugby, climate and women in politics
Q: How can more women be encouraged to put themselves forward?
There's a need for political parties to actively support and select women candidates.
