Good balance of local news with a global view. Good penetrating interviews while being polite
Sunday Supplement is one of the highlights of my listening week. The range of topics covered in the programme, even during the pandemic, is varied and always of interest. Vaughan is challenging in his interview manner without ever being confrontational. Above all what I think is its best quality is the way in which subjects are allowed to breathe and guests thus able to develop their points. Such a contrast to so many other political programmes. I listen to this podcast every week to catch up on the truly important issues being discussed in Wales. I only wish that I understood enough Welsh to listen to it on Radio Cymru. Mr. Roderick is extremely knowledgeable and seems very fair to both sides of any issue. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who loves Wales.

A high-signal political discussion program focusing on Welsh and UK governance, with frequent forays into national politics, devolved powers, and policy implementation. Episodes often center on elections, budget pressures, transport and infrastructure, health policy, and cultural heritage, featuring a rotating cast of Welsh politicians, policy experts, journalists, and academics. Notable strengths include a strong handling of multi-party dynamics, minority-government realities, and timely analysis of devolved and UK-wide issues, making it useful for listeners who want a pragmatic, policy-forward take on current affairs in Wales and beyond.
