Good balance of local news with a global view. Good penetrating interviews while being polite
Sunday Supplement is one of the highlights of my listening week. The range of topics covered in the programme, even during the pandemic, is varied and always of interest. Vaughan is challenging in his interview manner without ever being confrontational. Above all what I think is its best quality is the way in which subjects are allowed to breathe and guests thus able to develop their points. Such a contrast to so many other political programmes. I listen to this podcast every week to catch up on the truly important issues being discussed in Wales. I only wish that I understood enough Welsh to listen to it on Radio Cymru. Mr. Roderick is extremely knowledgeable and seems very fair to both sides of any issue. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who loves Wales.

A recurring strength appears to be hosting guests from government, journalism, academia, and advocacy groups, which helps surface a wide range of perspectives on governance, public policy, and regional identity. The format typically blends timely political analysis with issue-driven conversations and interviews, making it useful for listeners who want context on Welsh politics and its connections to broader UK an... more
