  • Great insight

Have been listening to this podcast since around the start of the year and it’s just great.

It’s given me a great insight into the inner workings of Welsh politics since moving back to the area.

They get guests from all parties and give them equal opportunities to get their point across and then give them a load of hard questions.

Hosts are great, content is great, thanks very much for the podcast.

  • I listen to a lot of political news and analysis podcasts and this is the only one in the UK that focuses on Cymru. In fact I'd say having listened to thousands of hours of the Guardian, times, BBC, News Agents and other political commentating podcasts they barely mention Cymru at all. I find it refreshing and I'm enjoying hearing about my country and the specifics of what's happening here (even if it can be frustrating to be reminded of our often ignored issues). It's educational and the hosts ... more

  • Delivering what’s needed

This is so refreshing and it’s nice to hear Welsh issues being discussed but also not in a really heavy way. It’s informative but fun. Really like the interplay between the hosts and looking forward to seeing what more is to come.

  • For UK, See Wales

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that if you aren’t Welsh this podcast isn’t for you. Political podcasts are one a penny at the moment, especially the banter ones but they all focus on Westminster. It doesn’t matter your political persuasion, your ideology or your interests, all roads lead to Westminster.

This is “local” in its best iteration. This isn’t nepobaby journalists talking about growth, the market or the London finance sector it’s talking about the places that got left behind, it’s ... more

  • Dissapointing Quiz

I have listened to this podcast for 12 episodes. Was really dissapointed with the quiz. What is the point listening if the facts are incorrect? Cardiff doesn't have the highest percentage of welsh speakers and how can the age of the oldest senedd member be so wrong. Not worth listening too. If basic basic facts are incorrect. I want to be informed through laughter not getting every fact wrong.

Which parties care about the Senedd?
Q: Do you think that reform's constant belittling of ethnic minorities is making the topic of race that much more common, even amongst people who wouldn't necessarily vote for them?
Yes, there seems to be a shift in conversations around race and ethnicity, possibly influenced by current political rhetoric.
Which parties care about the Senedd?
Q: Could a Welsh FM ever be in this position like Andy Burnham, Mayor of Manchester?

Which parties care about the Senedd?
Q: With Zach Polanski surging in the national polls and capturing the national imagination, why is it that the Greens are historically so shit in Wales?
The Greens have struggled historically in Wales due to the political landscape being congested with left-of-center parties and not effectively communicating their pro-independence stance. However, there are signs that they are starting to gain traction.
Why we can't pretend they don't exist

Welsh Labour MUST win this
