I enjoy these podcasts. Disgusting treatment and accusations from a fellow podcaster who is acting like a spoilt brat. Ignore Murder Miles groupies who have left bad reviews. In fact it’s probably Mike himself!
So often, podcast narrators or creators seem to thing they have to have a ‘personality’ in order to make the content interesting. This is usually manifest as being loud, shrieking, annoying, inauthentic and overly emotive. It also usually means the actual content is poorly researched, drawn out and not very interesting. They are often too full of self-regard to ever consider themselves secondary to the actual story. Rest assured, there are no such worries here. Peerless research is delivered wit... more
I’ve attempted to follow this podcast on numerous occasions but always hit the wall of the presenters near-constant flubs, gaffs, and fluffed lines. I can’t go on. Shame, as the stories themselves are squarely in my area of interest.
Posted content has been stolen from another podcast called Murder Mile. The original creator does a much better job. Stop stealing other peoples work in order to pass it off as your own.
Don’t follow this bloke, he’s stolen material from other podcasters. Go listen to Murder Mile and The True Crime Enthusiast if you want to hear how research and podcasts are done properly. Absolute sham of a show. Reported for plagiarism.

Two-parter to multi-episode explorations across a range of true crime, historical mysteries, and paranormal-era stories with a distinctly UK focus. Episodes commonly center on archival research, long-form case reconstructions, and debates around evidence, bias, and the line between folklore and documented history. The host tends to favor thorough, low-edit storytelling that foregrounds archival documents, public records, and period context, often linking cases to broader social and cultural themes. A notable pattern is the insistence on rigorous sourcing and a calm, unflashy narration that keeps the object of inquiry front and center. This approach makes it appealing to listeners who enjoy detailed historical mysteries, academic framing, an... more
