This isn't your typical dog training podcast. Maybe you've tried YouTube, five trainers, and sixteen new diets, and nothing seems to stick. Maybe you've gone quiet in a dog group because someone made you feel stupid for asking a question. Or maybe you've searched "relationship with my dog" at midnight because nothing else described what you were feeling. If any of that is true, this is for you. Th... more

This is a great podcast idea and I love that the episodes are short... more

Q: Walk me through what it looked like when you and Rodie got together on day one, not the official version.
Paul recalls being handed Rodie after a previous dog caused injuries, noting Rodie's affectionate, eager-to-work nature and the immediate bond, which contrasted with his expectations of a formidable dog.

Q: Can you walk through a moment where a dog's safety changed how someone thought about traveling with their dog?
A wake-up moment occurs after crashes when dogs bolt or get injured; sharing stories of accidents where kennels protected pets—and sometimes people—helps owners reframe travel as a system of safety and comfort, rather than a mere necessity, leading to broader adoption of kennels and better travel setups.

Q: How did RuffLand become RuffLand and what problem were you trying to solve?
RuffLand grew out of a rotating mold and plastic product background during an economic downturn when the founders needed to generate demand and keep their machines busy; a dog owner suggested a better kennel design, which evolved into a high-performance, one-piece, rotational-molded kennel that prioritized safety, durability, and practical travel integration.
