  • Slightly poor taste

I appreciate the valuable clinical content in this nursing podcast, particularly the discussion on pain scales and drug-seeking behavior. However, one example given about a patient eating fried chicken and laughing came across as culturally insensitive and in poor taste. I think a more neutral, individualized example would help avoid reinforcing stereotypes and ensure that all listeners feel respected.

  • New BSN grad here!

Nurse Mo has helped me so much throughout my entire BSN program! I read the Nursing School Thrive Guide in 2022 before I started my program in January of 2023 and listened to her Podcasts immediately after finishing the book and realizing she also had a podcast! Even my 7 year old daughter has learned from Nurse Mo (her favorite is the flash card podcasts). I got my BSN on December 13 and was even on the Dean’s List. ❤️ Recently accepted a job on a trauma/neuro unit as an RN and I am so thankful... more

  • Brand new 4.0 RN grad!

Nurse Mo, I can’t thank you enough for your podcasts on all things nursing, as well as your articles, videos and online resources. I just graduated yesterday with a 4.0 in my ADN program, despite working and raising a family of 3 kids. Audio studying was a key component for me, and your voice was with me over countless hours of commutes, getting things done around the house and walking around the neighborhood. I’ve shared so many episodes with my cohort buddies that they know me as the “podcast ... more
