I just listened to episode 1 of The Pitt. It was excellent! This podcast is a brilliant way to help us better understand what’s going on medically throughout the series. Seems like making this show would be a lot of work for you both, but it’s much appreciated by this RN 😊
I have a background in the medical field, I think it’s great fun that you can take these involved, often dry medical topics and still include humor and banter. This is educational and entertaining. For the folks that can’t take a joke, and would like to cut the banter, there are plenty of dry textbooks that would thrill you to pieces. I will continue to enjoy this podcast. History, science and humor. You guys are great, keep up the good work!
Thank you both for all of your hard work in producing such an entertaining, interesting, and informative podcast. Please ignore any haters and continue with the banter and chat! Jt makes learning way more fun, you’ve been a lifesaver for my anaesthesia exams 🙏 Please keep doing what you’re doing!
These hosts are exceptional. I’m simply a health-conscious autodidact and technologist by trade - no exams to pass and no formal medical training required. I listen for the depth of science.
I probably grasp about 70% of the material, but even that provides meaningful insight into my own health. This isn’t medical advice - it’s medical education.

Two medical educators guide a physiology- and anatomy-forward show that blends rigorous science with accessible banter. Episodes commonly unpack core bodily systems—cardiovascular dynamics, pharmacology, antibiotics, and metabolism—while peppering in clinical context, history, and practical study tips. A consistent strength is turning complex concepts into digestible lessons through lively dialogue, real-world analogies, and occasional guest perspectives. Noteworthy are the deep dives into drug mechanisms (antibiotics, GLP-1 therapies), classic physiology (capillary exchange, defecation, insulin), and historically rich narratives that connect science to medicine. Potential listeners include students, healthcare professionals, and curious li... more
