I like all the episodes but the one that hooked me the most was the 1st episode about the bothy and I loved the guy who was singing in it!
I’m a few episodes in, and have very much been enjoying the fun these ladies have with the subject matter while conveying facts of each topic. The Bothy episode hooked me, as I had always found these structures fascinating.
Then… the Loch Ness episode… when she said, “You’re so vain, you probably think this canoe is about you,” I had a great chuckle.
Fantastic show! I adore these smart and fun ladies!
Coming back from Edinburgh recently doing a few excursions. I am fascinated with the culture of the Scots, especially the folk tales. I look forward to catching up to previous episodes but so far what I’ve heard it is brilliant.
I’ve listen to this podcast for a while but today; today I drove for 6 hours listening to this and didn’t for a second get bored.
Every episode is packed full of research and care and humor. If you are chasing your Scottish roots, you should listen. If you are simply curious, you should listen. One great story after another.
