  • Fantastic podcasts talking about the best era of touring cars!

I’m loving these memories from the best days of touring car racing. It’s great to have Adam Jones as a regular too. I think he once beat Fernando Alonso in a race!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S7 E7: Silverstone 1998
Q: What first comes to mind when you first think about this season finale from 1998?
Glenn recalls Alain Menu's intense rivalry and a significant moment that involved Derek Warwick's robust actions.
S6 E5: Anthony Reid: My 50 Years of Motorsport
Q: What was your most fondly remembered moment in your 50 years of racing?
The most memorable moment was winning the main support race at the British Grand Prix, which led to my career opportunity racing at Le Mans.
S6 E2: Brands Hatch 1997
Q: Adam, big move for the championship to start broadcasting races live on Grandstand, which at the time was the premier live TV show for sports at the time.
I think it's a huge move. And I think it already happened, but I think this was probably one of the really significant points for BTCC in terms of where drivers would become household names.
S6 E2: Brands Hatch 1997
Q: What first comes to mind when you think about this first live TV meeting for the BTCC?
No doubt about it at all. There's two things. It's the Reid and Menu collision towards the end of race two, but just prior to that, it's the Murrayism, of course.
S3 E5: Super Touring Power Review
Q: What was your experience like returning to the SuperTouring events?
It's humbling to see how many fans still remember and celebrate that era.
