In our season close, we recommend more things for you to watch as you deal with the pandemic, the world, and just the general state of things. All of the things are either ridiculous or soft.
Lizzie talks us through our latest pandemic TV obsession, 'New Amsterdam.'
Lyra hates the movie, which makes her an excellent guide to Lizzie and Lynnie's love for 'Yes Day,' a family movie on Netflix. We review it here, as well as Édgar Ramírez's beard.
Lizzie and Lyra talk about their experience with stereotypes of Latinos in media and why it does so much harm to the community.
Lizzie guides us through all our WandaVision feels in this spoiler-ific episode of the podcast. Be sure to follow us on Twitter @stopandfangirl3
Lyra does the unthinkable and doesn't prepare for this podcast at all as she guides us through Netflix's 'I Care A lot' - a tale of awfulness, mobsters, and bob cuts - oh my!
Lynnie takes the team through the wonderful world of Zoey and her infinite playlist of songs. Mostly featuring season one with a few surprise cameos by season 2.
Lizzie tries to explain why she's wrong about Christmas movies as we discuss our top ten all-time favorite movies. Most are nostalgic, some are new, and one or two may surprise you. Follow us on Twitter @stopandfangirl3
I really enjoy this podcast, the ladies have great chemistry and I appreciate that they all have their own independent opinions. They’re fangirls but they’re also able to take a critical eye and that makes all the difference.
LOVE THIS SHOW! I'm listening to the RomCom ep, and I am so into this! Love the discussion, that they are serious fans, and look at everything critically and have different points of view. The conversation is really relaxed and you feel like you're hanging out with friends. I feel like I'm gushing, but this might be my new fave!
At the intersection of fandom and feminism, you’ll find this amazing podcast. Hosts Lynnie, Lizzie, and Lyra are passionate, funny, unapologetic, and uncensored in their opinions—they’re certainly not afraid to speak their minds, and I love it! I always appreciate when fans can take a critical lens to the things they love. There’s a healthy dose of squeeing and outright fangirling to lighten the mood too. My favorite episode is The Ultimate MCU Ranking, but they’re all gems. Subscribe today! <3 ... more
Love this little podcast. Diverse voices, great commentary, no holds barred. Very much enjoyed their coverage of queer characters in cartoons!
Absolutely adore this podcast! Discovered it when another group I participate told me about the first Timeless episode and I was immediately hooked. There are few things as lovely as three smart and intelligent women telling it like it is with respect to various fandoms, shows, movies, et al. I look forward to each episode and there are multiple cases where an episode that focused on or brought up a topic/person that inspired me to look into something I may not have otherwise. Keep up the great ... more
I love these ladies. They're smart, funny, and not afraid to speak their minds on everything from ships to representation in media.
I love Timeless it’s my favorite show on tv right now. I also love hearing other people talk about it and fangirl about it like me. It was a witty and smart podcast and the flow was nice, it never dragged. If you’re into Timeless this is the podcast you don’t want to miss. If your a HUGE LYATT fan, this is the podcast for YOU! Stop, listen and fangirl with them.
Listening to these passionate women break down things they love and things they hate makes me feel understood. The episode on mental health is great coverage of the "love can save you from mental illness" trope and how bad it is for representation and also which shows do it right. Looking forward to hearing more!
Love these girls and their podcasts. I follow them on twitter and I’ll follow them here .
I promise I'm not just saying this because they're my friends. I love listening to Lizzie, Lyra and Lynnie's funny and insightful takes on pop culture every week. A must-listen for every fangirl!
These talented and on pointe ladies are my go to when I work out at the gym. I have a hard time not laughing out loud at their witty retorts while getting into amazingly eye-opening debates on all things geek. But they are also amazing at touching on relevant issues in media with the perfect balance of female gaze and smarts. I love this podcast and it's presenters! Worth a listen for sure!
A fun podcast that discusses your favourite shows and movies, and highlights some important topics in media from a positive, feminist viewpoint.
We Sipping Sisters ADORE this fantastic podcast from empowered hosts Lizzie, Lyra and Lynnie. They are hilarious, frank and love TV as much as we do. It's so fun to fangirl together. If you are a fangirl, fanboy or nerd, this podcast is a MUST listen.
A refreshing take on geekdom from 3 fangirls.
