  • Really love this podcast- wish it updated more!

As a butch lesbian who survived American academia, this podcast is so lifegiving and has helped me so much on my journey of self love. My only wish is that the creators were a bit more responsive, I really want full access to the website. Highly recommend giving this a listen!

  • This podcast is SO GOOD and a must listen for all lesbian

I don’t know where to begin. I thought I was going crazy and was the only one seeing what I was seeing in today’s culture. This podcast is academic but not unapproachable.

I would propose to Rachel Stonecipher if she weren’t already married.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S2 E11: Butch Semiotics, the Study of Butch Signs
Q: How do I find butch joy?
Butch joy comes from pleasing ourselves and each other and is not about achieving a constant state of euphoria.
S2 E4: The Supreme Court and the Circus
Q: Lauren, can you summarize your experience at the Supreme Court regarding the United States versus Skrmetti case?
Lauren shares that she encountered shocking homophobia directed towards butch lesbians while advocating against child gender transition, illustrating a complex tension within the LGBTQ+ community.
S1 E4: See You in Confetti Hell (Part 1 of 2 with Cowboy Jen) [Rerelease]
Q: What's it like having that level of kind of fame and recognition now that like your presence can get people to a place?
It's a little weird, because a lot of people think they know me, like they're familiar with me, but they've never met me. I'm okay with it, but I also feel like I can handle this project.
