A mix of interviews with artists that embody clown spirit and solo episodes where Chad offer opinions, instruction and (hopefully) morsels of inspiration. STAND UP AND CLOWN is na... more

  • Stand and deliver!

This is long overdue as I have been listening to this podcast for ages and gleaning extremely helpful and important gems for my clown work.

I know the point obviously isn’t entertain us. He makes this very clear, yet, that’s exactly what Damiano has done. He keeps this from being too academic with his extremely funny, repeat sound effects that interlude his pearls of wisdom on modern clown. My favorite is “daddy”. Keep on Clowning please and thank you.

  • The beeps ruin the podcast

I love this podcast. But the beeps completely ruin it. They’re not necessary at all - not in anyway funny or interesting. Would be sooooo much better without the beeps. Please remove them. I hope you read this and have a think about it . (Ps I’m not the only one) have introduced this to a few friends that have also mentioned how annoying the beeps are

  • All Hail the Clown Boss!

Stand Up and Clown is a delightful blend of humor and heart, offering lessons in performance as well as life. Each episode feels like a balancing act between theory and introspection as Chad speaks on his own experience and invites fellow clowns to share their experiences in the world of performance, but the real magic happens when they apply those lessons to everyday life. Whether it’s embracing failure, finding joy in vulnerability, or learning to connect with others, their stories are univers... more

  • Great podcast with weird beeping issue

Love the content! The only reason I am taking a star off is because I hate the beeping! Sometimes I have to stop listening to an episode because the beeping is so annoying. Just felt like I should leave a review so that maybe this issue can get fixed. Otherwise great stuff!

  • Just one Flaw (BEEP)

It’s a podcast loaded with fascinating looks at what it means to clown—and perform more generally. It contains a lot of information that’s useful for any actor. The interviews are fascinating too; everyone comes to clown in a completely different way and they’re a wild cast of characters.

    But.

Starting in Season 2, there’s a little (BEEP) every time the host or a guest finishes a thought. (BEEP) Sometimes they can make it three or four sentences. Sometimes it’s after every sentence. It’s ... more
