I love this podcast. Equal parts hilarious and clever, every time I play it around people they “don’t get it.” Oh well. The small sound bites are perfect to add to my queue during my morning commute, or when I just want to be cheered up when I’m having a bad day.
Ripe with ideas as diverse as the offerings on a well arranged deluxe fruit, nuts & cheese platter. Enjoy!
A panel-show-format, light-hearted comedy podcast discussing all things linguistic including trivia and new developments in the field. It comes out roughly monthly and is sure to entertain anyone with a background in linguistics.
Separately included in the feed are short audio articles satirising the austere stereotypes of linguists and philologers which are always amusing and often lough-out-loud funny for those that understand them.
Keep them coming, please!

The podcasts also feature a variety of speakers. The episodes are short—just a few minutes—which is good news for the busy linguist or language lover on the go.... more
