I love learning more about topics and areas of speech pathology that I don’t work in. That information has proved helpful so many times, when I’m asked or needing to direct someone to a service within Speech pathology. Eg I work with paediatrics, but needed to direct someone to services for adults, or brain injury, adult literacy, etc.
Some episodes are fantastic and highly informative. Other episodes are hard to listen to as it is very obvious that speakers are reading a script. I would highly suggest prompting speakers to talk naturally as listening to people read a pre written script is not enjoyable.
