Okay, I will admit I’m a nerd who loves soundtracks and Broadway musicals. A podcast where two soundtracks go head to head? Oh my heart!! The podcasters do a fantastic job breaking down the scores, giving background information on the stories behind the music for the movies/shows. They are obviously very knowledgeable and love the genre also. I only wish it was more often than once a month.
Of all the podcasts I listen to, by far my favourite.
Great fun and interesting podcast about film music.
This podcast uses a great format where the two presenters compare two soundtracks by voting each round on a particular aspect (motifs, themes, impact, sound-design, etc), then finally declaring a ‘winner’ by adding up the results. (By the way, the volume of Ep02 is very low - can hardly hear it, you may want to re-upload a version with a better level?)

Both are aspiring composers with a number of short film already to their credit and bring this technical knowledge as well as an obvious love for film music to the discussion.
They have chosen the sports metaphor of a boxing match discussing different aspects of the ... more
