I enjoy the process of your interviews and how your provide insight with other answers. It seems to interest all involved. Thank you! The Blood Orange episode was quite intriguing. I feel so much closer to his music relating to parts of process.
Some nobody who mentions his phd too much trying to school Conor Oberst. Give me a break.

My new favourite podcast!! I love the interviewer’s questions and wow what fantastic artists he interviews. Learning a lot as a musician and writer - thank you :)

A deep focus on how songwriters approach the craft, craft, and daily practice behind creating lyrics, melodies, and arrangements. Episodes feature a mix of established and emerging writers who share routines, writing environments, and techniques—ranging from journaling and note-taking to walking, co-writing, and editing. Across guests, the conversations stress disciplined practice, iterative revision, and translating personal experiences into song, with occasional forays into poetry, literature, and cross-disciplinary creativity that influence their craft.
