I enjoy the process of your interviews and how your provide insight with other answers. It seems to interest all involved. Thank you! The Blood Orange episode was quite intriguing. I feel so much closer to his music relating to parts of process.
Some nobody who mentions his phd too much trying to school Conor Oberst. Give me a break.
Hey, just listened to the Mag Bay ep and loved it. One suggestion I would make is maybe providing a little less info about what other writers do / what studies you’ve read on process as you interview them and instead fully focus on finding out and asking what the guests do themselves.
My new favourite podcast!! I love the interviewer’s questions and wow what fantastic artists he interviews. Learning a lot as a musician and writer - thank you :)

A deep focus on how songwriters approach the craft, craft, and daily practice behind creating lyrics, melodies, and arrangements. Across guests, the conversations stress disciplined practice, iterative revision, and translating personal experiences into song, with occasional forays into poetry, literature, and cross-disciplinary creativity that influence their craft.
