I like Talkhouse's novel format of two solid musicians talking about life. One glimpses so much into past events as they describe things with such immediacy as they both were there.
Existing interviews are often boring because many interviewers don't put in the work to appreciate the effort and love these people put in for their chosen vocation. I just discovered this series and holy crap. The drum geek in me of course was tickled with the Black Midi / Bruford episode but then I started queueing up episodes and it got out of hand. I can’t wait to listen and keep listening. Great stuff.
