Overextending every word does not make you a radio host - get to the point- this is not about YoU- this is about the message

  • Good

Good speakers! The host does talk A LOT before and after the speaker even during the speakers “time” - it would be so much better, in my opinion, if he would let the speakers do the majority of the talking, especially during the allotted time

445- Ricky C - Sponsorship is the Secret Sauce
Q: What was the turning point that finally solidified your commitment to staying sober this last time?
A combination of the rehab guidance, a direct push from David to seek psychiatric support when needed, and a deep, personal realization that I needed to do it for my kids and family as well as myself transformed my approach and finally kept me on track.
445- Ricky C - Sponsorship is the Secret Sauce
Q: Can you describe what sponsorship has meant for your sobriety and your life today?
Sponsorship has been the central catalyst for my ongoing recovery. It keeps me active, gives me a sense of purpose, and forces me to stay grounded in the steps by helping others, which in turn reinforces my own sobriety.

439- Curtis J Part 1 - AA as a Directional Tool Map

Q: What would you say to newcomers and sober curious individuals about the program of AA?
AA is very effective and has beautiful principles, but individual honesty about drinking is crucial for real recovery.
