Barry and Julia are a perfect combo in this podcast! Barry is so knowledgeable as a critic, and Julia represents more of a normal film fan. But their chemistry is off the charts, they are so entertaining to listen to! Barry talks a mile-a-minute and is quite funny, and Julia can’t help but laugh throughout. I cracked up constantly in the “Ghost” review! Keep it up guys, love it.
Over all good conversations but I wish Julia would use less of the word like as it is heavily overused by her.
Barry tries to bring the "professional" touch while Julia keeps the show grounded for all us non-critics. ;)
Barry, (the critic) and his wife Julia are amazing together in this show. The theme song says it all, Julia just wants to talk about how much fun it is and Barry has to go into the nuts and bolts. The audience gets to enjoy both points of view.
The hosts are funny and have great chemistry. Barry brings knowledge and wisdom to the show, whereas Julia is so relatable as a casual watcher. This makes for a fun dynamic as they dissect the movies. I about peed myself during the Rad review when they described Fake Aunt Becky in a bad wig. Or talking about needing a snack after the orgy scene in Eyes Wide Shut. I now understand that movie. Thank you for reviewing The Burbs!
