  • Brilliant!

Hands down my favourite podcast of any genre. The banter between Jim and Barry is hilarious, and I love Barry’s bone dry humour and Jim’s inimitable laugh always kills me. Outstanding guests skillfully interviewed. The perfect thing to listen to with a Historex kit in one hand and a paintbrush or scalpel in the other. Please keep the episodes coming! Alex from Sydney, Australia. PS - Would give a 6th star for Jim’s Chuck D impression if I could ha ha!

  • Fantastic scale model making podcast

Barry and Jim enjoy a great rapport and are themselves knowledgable and accomplished model makers. They regularly interview and gain insight from many of the shining lights of the miniaturist and “dioramist” world. Humorous, educational, and entertaining in equal measure. Well worth a listen

The best miniature for me cannot have that many sculpted details, and it needs to have at least some of the flat surfaces, so I can paint something on them and interpret it myself.
