  • Yes everything in Florida revolves around citrus.

Jason from BlueOx recommended y’all’s podcast. I was able to listen to this episode at work. Such a great listen as far as the mental health dynamic goes for me. Being a veteran and working in a very high stress production environment sitting down with a glass of bourbon and working on whatever kit that I’m currently over detailing lol. Helps flush the outside world away.

And I live on a Lemon St and most of the streets in my neighborhood are all citrus named lol. And Plant City is HUGE for the... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 39 - Ignorance, Arrogance, or Stupidity...Or Maybe it's Just All Three with Special Guest Insider Tim Rhine
Q: Tim, when you went to that show and you entered your models, did you see anything on your sheet when you entered that says that judges, at their discretion, can handle your models in any way, shape or form?
It says that, and you can check the box if you don't want to touch. And I think every show that I've been to says that same thing.
Episode 37 - Who Would of Figured: Talking Miniatures with Mike Hilleary and Greg DiFranco
Q: Can you give a short background about yourself, how you got into the hobby?
Both Mike and Greg share their extensive backgrounds in figure painting, highlighting their transitions into the hobby from other interests and how they discovered their passions for painting figures, including influences in their early years.
Episode 34 - Step Outside Your Comfort Zone with Special Guest Jason Hanscom
Q: What do you think about modelers who are not interested in competing?
It shouldn't be held against them if they choose not to compete; many enjoy the hobby and have great skills without entering shows.
Episode 28 - Gunpla? I hardly knew her...with special guest Joshua Scott
Q: How can Gunpla be more enjoyable for entering competitions?
Realize that it's not just a simple model but a platform for creativity and expression, focusing on quality and design.
Episode 28 - Gunpla? I hardly knew her...with special guest Joshua Scott
Q: What are some tips for beginners looking to start in Gunpla modeling?
Bandai has made it beginner-friendly, and you can start with snap kits. Don't be afraid to explore and learn through trial and error.
