The D’Avirros do a great job bringing Mike’s life long sports loves with Joe’s new school favorites. UConn, the Sox and NFL are favorites in our house. Can’t forget Joe’s got the best cousin on the planet!!!
I’ll admit we don’t get the chance to listen to many podcasts but this one is a must if you love sports! Mike and his son Joe have a great banter and their bond that comes from the love of sports really comes through in this podcast! Check ‘em out!
Love the combo and perspective of a father and son in sports! Great job and keep it up!!
Just listened to my first episode with Jim Calhoun as the guest. Mike(dad) did nice job organizing the flow and keeping the podcast moving, but Joseph (son) is the star of the show. He asked insightful
questions and it really sounded like a kid talking to his grandfather...not interviewing a Hall of Fame coach. He asked Calhoun some non basketball questions which were great. For a young man, he’s a poised and a confident interviewer. Wouldn’t be surprised if he is a future sportscaster...... more
I listened to Mike and Joe’s interview with UCONN coaching legend Jim Calhoun. Mike did a great job breaking the ice when he asked about Coach’s recent hole in one. What followed, was a great interview with a very comfortable Jim Calhoun. Great preparation and fantastic content here. I never knew that Coach had an offer from the Wizards. Learned something new.
Great job Mike and Joe!
