  • An outstanding podcast on baby sleep!

Really impressed with the quality and depth of the material in this podcast - I had previously purchased a book and a sleep course from other sources, both of which go into less detail than this podcast makes available for free.

The bases on which all sleep advice is provided are sound and trustworthy (not the case for all sources on baby sleep online), and best of all, it works! I can only highly recommend it!

  • Such a helpful, easy-to-digest resource!

Every episode is so straight to the point, with good humor and lots of encouragement for parents. It’s been very helpful on my journey with a newborn, and I also listen to the episodes about older kiddos so I know what’s to come!

  • $70 for Newborn sleep guide ?

I’ve been listening to Erin’s podcast for a bit. At first it seems like a lot of info bc different rules apply to different ages but I’ve been taking notes to make order of it. I also really appreciate how she gets in to the topics pretty quickly instead of talking. about her personal life (many podcasts do not). Out of curiosity went over to her website to check out her sleep guide PDF….$70 for the newborn guide ! I think that’s nuts. On another note, she had a guest, Jenny Best, who used the b... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Why Chiropractic Work May Be Right For Your Baby ft. Dr. Brittlyn Bos
Q: Should chiropractic care replace pediatrician visits or be used alongside them?
It is best viewed as complementary and collaborative; in many cases a team approach with the pediatrician or family doctor yields faster, safer, and more comprehensive care.
Why Chiropractic Work May Be Right For Your Baby ft. Dr. Brittlyn Bos
Q: What is pediatric chiropractic care and how does it differ from adult chiropractic?
Pediatric care targets the same musculoskeletal principles but uses gentler techniques, avoids cracking, and focuses on releasing tension and improving range of motion in a developing spine.
Q&A: Contact Nap Transitions, Daycare Nap Challenges & Hourly Night Wakings at 4 Months
Q: What's a good sleep schedule for a 16-week-old?
Focus on wake windows rather than a fixed schedule: about 1 hour 15 minutes to the first nap, then about 1.5 hours between later naps and bedtime, with the possibility of 4–5 naps depending on the day, and bedtime typically between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Q&A: Contact Nap Transitions, Daycare Nap Challenges & Hourly Night Wakings at 4 Months
Q: What's the guidance for an 18–month–old's bedtime if they wake from naps at daycare around 2 p.m.?
Bedtime around 7 p.m. is generally appropriate, but if nap is disrupted (e.g., shorter than usual), adjust by watching tired signs and potentially earlier bedtime when needed.
Q&A: Contact Nap Transitions, Daycare Nap Challenges & Hourly Night Wakings at 4 Months
Q: Is it normal for a six-month-old to scream/cry for 5–10 minutes before naps, and what should parents consider?
Cryuring before naps can be due to the child being tired and cranky, and it may reflect a moment of protest rather than an underlying issue; ensure wake windows aren't too long and watch for signs of overtiredness.
