  • An outstanding podcast on baby sleep!

Really impressed with the quality and depth of the material in this podcast - I had previously purchased a book and a sleep course from other sources, both of which go into less detail than this podcast makes available for free.

The bases on which all sleep advice is provided are sound and trustworthy (not the case for all sources on baby sleep online), and best of all, it works! I can only highly recommend it!

  • Such a helpful, easy-to-digest resource!

Every episode is so straight to the point, with good humor and lots of encouragement for parents. It’s been very helpful on my journey with a newborn, and I also listen to the episodes about older kiddos so I know what’s to come!

  • $70 for Newborn sleep guide ?

I’ve been listening to Erin’s podcast for a bit. At first it seems like a lot of info bc different rules apply to different ages but I’ve been taking notes to make order of it. I also really appreciate how she gets in to the topics pretty quickly instead of talking. about her personal life (many podcasts do not). Out of curiosity went over to her website to check out her sleep guide PDF….$70 for the newborn guide ! I think that’s nuts. On another note, she had a guest, Jenny Best, who used the b... more

Q&A: Wake Windows, Sleep Training for Baby vs. Toddlers And The 4 Month Sleep Regression
Q: Should the same sleep coaching approach be used for a toddler and a baby with similar sleep issues?
Yes, a similar coaching approach might work for both if the sleep issues are comparable, but adjustments may be needed for differences in temperament, family dynamics, and age-related behaviors such as a preschooler's bedtimes and rewards systems.
Q&A: Wake Windows, Sleep Training for Baby vs. Toddlers And The 4 Month Sleep Regression
Q: What are the proper wake windows for a 7-month-old and is dropping to two naps appropriate yet?
The typical guidance is to keep a 7-month-old on three naps for now, with wake windows around two hours before the first nap, then two and a half hours before the second and third naps, and to consider two naps closer to eight months if the child handles wake times well.
