  • An outstanding podcast on baby sleep!

Really impressed with the quality and depth of the material in this podcast - I had previously purchased a book and a sleep course from other sources, both of which go into less detail than this podcast makes available for free.

The bases on which all sleep advice is provided are sound and trustworthy (not the case for all sources on baby sleep online), and best of all, it works! I can only highly recommend it!

  • Such a helpful, easy-to-digest resource!

Every episode is so straight to the point, with good humor and lots of encouragement for parents. It’s been very helpful on my journey with a newborn, and I also listen to the episodes about older kiddos so I know what’s to come!

  • $70 for Newborn sleep guide ?

I’ve been listening to Erin’s podcast for a bit. At first it seems like a lot of info bc different rules apply to different ages but I’ve been taking notes to make order of it. I also really appreciate how she gets in to the topics pretty quickly instead of talking. about her personal life (many podcasts do not). Out of curiosity went over to her website to check out her sleep guide PDF….$70 for the newborn guide ! I think that’s nuts. On another note, she had a guest, Jenny Best, who used the b... more

Why I Almost Divorced My Husband (And the Conversations That Saved Our Marriage) with Paige Connell
Q: What did the 18 months look like in practice?
A multi-step process starting with making the invisible labor visible, setting personal and team goals, using tools like reminders and spreadsheets, and gradually delegating tasks to create a fair division of labor that fits their lives.
Q&A: When Can Kids Use Adult Pillows?
Q: What are wake windows for a six-and-a-half-month-old?
At around six-and-a-half months, most babies do best with three naps per day and about two hours of wake time in the morning, increasing to two and a half hours leading up to later naps and bedtime, to maintain sufficient sleep pressure and prevent overtiredness.
Q&A: When Can Kids Use Adult Pillows?
Q: Can you sleep train if your baby still needs a night feed?
Yes, sleep training can proceed even if overnight feeds are still needed for growth or medical reasons. The approach is to keep the baby awake during feeds to prevent sleep crutches, and to gradually extend wakefulness after feeds, with plans tailored in consultation with a pediatrician.
Q&A: When Can Kids Use Adult Pillows?
Q: When can kids use adult pillows?
Pillows are generally not appropriate until after age two, with many children benefiting from a flat toddler pillow first. Full adult-sized pillows are often suitable closer to around age ten, once neck and spine development are more mature, and the child shows signs of readiness such as sleeping more comfortably with a pillow and wider shoulders.
Honest Motherhood: On Losing My Mind and Finding Myself with Libby Ward
Q: What does Libby define as being a 'good mom' in the context of her book?
A good mom is someone who is self-aware, willing to apologize and repair when she makes mistakes, and prioritizes her children's emotional safety while taking care of her own well-being.
