I just listened to your podcast of my daughter’s murder. Your jokes and laughter were extremely distasteful and inappropriate. Just sad that you found thing laughable. Imagine living my life. I heard you say you have a daughter. Imagine for a second walking in my shoes and then someone tells your story that has never interviewed you. You failed to fact check many things reported. Most importantly Desiree’s birthday is this Thursday August 13th. Not October. You never know when the mother of a... more
Update 8/2026: I had stopped listening in 4/2025 but for some reason today, I had a longing to listen to them again so I'm going to give it another try. They were initially five stars when they started, but started slipping by that April. Where they went down to three stars. I'm hoping that I was just in a mood and we can bring them back up again.
Original review from the day they first published: Great start for this new pod. Normally I do not like when they are more than two hosts because the... more

UPDATE: oh my hell. What would my week look like without these three every Monday? I’m not confident I’d survive. While the first review still stands, I’d like to add this is a must listen. It’s pertinent for survival. I feel like all three of them are close friends. Jerry’s laugh Adam’s predictions and Kim’s pronunciation issues are everything. The warm up is my favorite.
Switched my under-rating 4 stars to a well deserved 5 stars! Thanks for making my weeks survivable. Unlike the vacations... more
I found this to be obnoxious. Way too much banter per episode and I'd prefer if they'd stick to the case and the facts. Annoying. Much better podcasts out there.

Slaycation blends true crime storytelling with sharp, dark humor centered on vacation-set mysteries and high-profile disappearances. Listeners likely appreciate a playful but respectful tone that balances suspense with levity, along with practical takeaways on safety and travel.
